Back to Magic Kingdom

For our last day at the World, we started at Magic Kingdom.  We had a list of rides we didn't get to do the first day so we could check them off, which we actually did.  And we had a plan to get them in, which we did with time to spare.

Can you see Terefech and I in the third row?  She had so much fun and the people behind us talked to her the whole time telling her all about the things in the ride.  Terefech is fun to take on these rides, she is a screamer!

The kids got pulled in to the Disney "flash mob" and danced and sang and had tons of un.

The Swiss Family Treehouse...think we need to read it or go live in one.  Our kind of lifestyle.

Fascinating for our guy to ride the steamboat.

Loving the Mickey ice cream bar.

We rode the people mover again.  Declan rode it 4 times total...his favorite ride by far.

Getting his silouhette done...this was about as good as we could get him to sit there.  Surprised it looks as good as it does with that goofy face.

Declan has been reading Peter Pan so he was excited to run into a fellow redhead.

We took the monorail over to Epcot to spend the rest of the evening.  We rode a couple of rides (one of our favorites Soarin' for the second time) and had dinner.  Playing music with the grandparents below.
Our evening ended with a huge rainstorm but unbelievable fireworks as usual.  It was a marvelous way to end a memorable family vacation.  Oh....but it wasn't over.  When we got up the next day, the van wouldn't start.  And then it spewed some lovely chemicals from the air system.  So we headed over to Downtown Disney again while Papa took the van to the mechanic to see how bad it was.  Well, we left about 4 in a rental if that tells you anything.  The kids loved having a new car to ride in but the in laws were left behind.  They stayed another night and then got their vehicle.  Made the ending a little more eventful and not so sad to leave.  We really had tons of fun and created lots of memories.

Day 4...still going

We spent the morning at Downtown Disney, shopping and enjoying all the stuff that is there.  The kids of course loved the Lego store.  The best part...they engrave Legos.  So the kids now have a brick that says, "Built by Terefech/Declan."  So cool I thought!

Terefech has been wanting ears like her brother for a long time.  She faithfully wore hers all day.  And I know you are loving our dinosaur shirts...Terefech's says "fancy schmancy saurus" and mine is a long neck dinosaur and says, "vegetarian."

Rich having fun with the mirrors.

We love coming to Orlando for Disney but also to see old friends.

This is how they always end the picture taking session....pure love don't you think?

We headed back to Downtown Disney for dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express (so yummy).  The kids of course had to build some more at the Lego store (because we have no legos at home).  I enjoyed a bunch of vegan donuts that were so delicious.  My best food find of the trip.

The kids were thrilled to find their stuffed animals all arranged.  Notice below that all the water animals are in the water.  They were so happy!

Animal Kingdom

Another fun day at Disney World...the kids were looking forward to all the animals we could see at Animal Kingdom and they weren't disappointed.

Digging for fossils.  I think they could have stayed here all day to try and unearth the being that was buried under the sand.  It was fun to be among other parents dragging their kids away.  They were so thrilled with themselves as they unearthed each new part of the animal.

This is an Indonesian instrument.  Terefech wowed us all by playing Twinkle, Twinkle on it after a 2 second orientation.  Piano skills transferred perfectly.

They had so much fun in the petting zoo.  The keepers told us that while the goats all run to their safe zone to get away from crazy kids, these pigs just lay around waiting for someone to pet them all day.

We had a wonderful time on the safari.  The kids were excited to see each and every animal.  The only animal that we didn't get to see full on was the lion.  Both the male and female were sleeping (we could see a tiny bit of them) which apparently they do about 20 hours a day.

The baby elephant was tooooo cute.

I always try to get a picture with Eeyore.  We have one of me when I was 5 with him and then one on the millennium with him and now this one.  The best part is that when I was 5, he was the same size as me.  He has grown with me.

We had a delicious dinner at Rainforest Cafe.  Terefech really loved the rainstorms and all the fun things around the restaurant.  I love Declan's face below...they both are having such an awesome time.
